I belive they were living in Posey County, Indiana. His daughter Katie was my ggrangmother. I have Charles Gibson born 1831 in OH, died 11 Jan 1900 and was married to Rebecca Downen b. 7 Nov 1840 d.16 Sep 1935 Posey Co., IN Children for Charles and Rebecca were: Warner, Samuel, Bertha And Katie. Katie married Joseph Lane Alldredge in Mt. Vernon, IN. They moved to Alto, Tx around 1900. Any info on these Gibson families would be of great help. There seems to be nothing on them. Paul killed himself over a stolen ham. I will send you the story.My grandfather died young ( Roy) 1932 or 1933 ? The story is he died of pnuemonia. Is your Aunt Nell named Mattie Nell? I don't have any info on her or your Dad other than parents, siblings, would love to know more. Did she know WP Sherman Reynolds or Simon Reynolds, did you know them?
