To get a list of files that are in your directory, you need to get your RC, or whoever does your uploading, to get a directory list from the FTP client (dirlst -- I think the buttons says), then save it as .txt format and send it on to you. That is the only way I know how to go about getting it if you don't have FTP capabilities and you have a file in your directory called index.html.
