She was notified? How? How many e-mail messages went out? From whom? I have scanned my entire set of mailboxes (55MB) for mail from Megan, and nothing came in regarding this until I got the message everyone got. The world has been aware of my e-mail problems over the past few months, whether from Eudora crashes, USIT upgrades, or whatever. It doesn't make sense to rely on a known-buggy method when attempting to resolve something that has major impact. I got no phone call, fax, or postcard, nor did anyone attempt to reach me through my husband's e-mail account (at UT, it's extremely stable). Public humiliation isn't funny. It's not really nice to yank something away from a person who has lived and breathed for it for 18 months. For most of that time, I have spent 10-15 hours a day in front of my computer, working on the project, much to the detriment of my family, career, and personal life. The only complaint anyone's had about my efforts on this project were with my e-mail. I have been doing my dead-level best to resolve that issue as quickly and inexpensively as possible. I kept you and Bridgett apprised of my work in that regard. I don't mind the fact that I'm not TNGenWeb project coordinator any longer. God just sped up my personal time schedule a bit. As I've said to many of the people who've written, the worst part of the whole thing was not being given the opportunity to resign gracefully. My personal and professional integrity have been besmirched (I love that word <g>) because I wasn't given that opportunity. C'est la vie......
