Charles without getting up on my soap box you have expressed an issue that I whole heatedly embrace. With new technology, when folks send an email message it is automatically assumed that the intended recipient got it and if they didn't it was their fault. Heck the US Post Office even loses mail. Now add that to the fact that the internet and internet mail is contingent on a system of volunteer computers and volunteers as well as private, commercial, and independent access providers it is a wonder the whole system works as well as it does. Even the "reply requested" features only indicate that the message arrived at the end server not that the person really got it. Finally the assumption that it is the fault of the end user is just as absurd, OK I will now get back off the box but I run into this notion so often on a daily basis with novices that it gets to be a bone of irritation with me. -----Original Message----- From: Charles Reeves, Jr. <[email protected]> To: [email protected] <[email protected]> Cc: [email protected] <[email protected]>; [email protected] <[email protected]> Date: Thursday, December 04, 1997 7:02 PM Subject: Re: Tennessee state coordinator >At 4:12 PM -0600 12/4/97, Athol K Foster wrote: >... >>What I would like to know is, what authority do you have to relieve Billie >>and appoint Bridgett?
