Hey All, I seem to be getting a late start on all of the changes about the state coordinator position and the USIT issues. I think I am definately going to have to find a new email and ISP (things seem to be behind). I first want to say thanks to Billie for all of her hard work and making the TNGenWeb what is today. <CLAP> <CLAP> Second, today I sent an email to Billie, Anne and Bridgett about some features that I saw on the USIT internet site that may be of an advantage to us. Since things have changed, I will recap and send to the whole group. I know that everyone has their own way of doing things and coding their pages, but for those of us (and there may only be a few), that use Microsoft Frontpage to maintain their pages, USIT now offers Frontpage Extension support. What this means is that we could use Frontpage to develop html pages that have forms used for queries/ posting information and AUTOMATICALLY update the HTML pages. Frontpage has an "autobot"/"webbot" (something like that), that is already coded and handles form generation and maintenance easily. There are many other extensions that we could take advantage of... One that might be possible is... (for users of Frontpage), we might be able to update our own web pages WITHOUT uploading files to the server via FTP (frontpage can handle this for you). (I am not sure exactly what all is involved with this, so it might be more trouble than it is worth). I am sorry about the run on sentences and this run on email, if any one wants to know more about the different extensions, I will be glad to talk with them. But I guess to sum it all up, on MY WISH LIST, I would like to be able to use the Frontpage extensions and autobots. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help out. Thanks a bunch!
