    3. Denise et al, I receive about 20 commercial e-mails per day. About 50% are for porn sites. I just delete them, because I am usually the only user of this computer. Here is how I believe I got on their list. I do not accept cookie files. And I don't visit porn sites. But last summer my daughter and her "half" brother visited me. The young man (age 15) asked if he could use the computer at the end of the evening. Sure, that's OK with me. And I told him not to accept the cookie files. About a week after their visit, I stared to receive the porn mail. Many said they had been sent because I had been to their web site. Ahhh, a clue. So I went to my browser's cache file and opened some graphic files. Because I am ever the skeptic, I first opened the files that that were dated when the young man used the computer. I found skateboard graphics galore - but then I found . . . well you know what I found. Do you thing that he had accepted cookie files? I do. I reckon it is just like buying from a mail order house. As soon as one gets your address, they sell it and soon you are inundated with catalogs. Fred >>>>> Denise Waterworth wrote: > > Did anyone else get an advertisement for hard porn?
