October 1, 1883 Griff Garner, Locator No 3843 Thomas F. Moseley enters 90 acres of land more or less in Franklin County district No. 4, commencing at the south west corner of the old John Syler tract of land, running west to Elizabeth Langston land thence north to Jesse McClure's south boundary thence east with his south boundary to the John Syler west boundary, thence south with that line to the beginning, containing 90 acres, more or less. December 11, 1883 Thomas F. Moseley, Locator No. 3844 J.H. West enters 500 acres of land more or less in Franklin County, Tenn., in District No. 13, on the head waters of Sinking Cove or little Crow creek; Beginning on a white oak in the north boundary of the Mc. Wells 1500 acre tract and running north ward to the point of the mountain, thence west ward across Bear Hollow, to the top of the mountain; thence south ward to the Far top of the mountain; thence south; thence eastward around the bluff of round cove with its meanders to a black locust on said bluff; thence east to the beginning so as not to conflict with former claims, and include all the vacant land within the boundaries above given. Jan. 7, 1884 J.H. West, Locator No. 3845 H.E. Watson and J.T. Syler enter 40 acres of land more or less; Beginning on a stake and pointers, the north east corner of Thomas Mitchell's tract; and runs thence west to the Bardy tract which is the east boundary; and with the same to K. Embrey's old tract (running north with same) then with the same (his south boundary, east to Richard Sharp's line; thence south to the beginning; containing 40 acres more or less located in District No. 15 on the waters of Elk river, in Franklin Co., Tenn.
