Carter enters 50 acres of land in Franklin County lying on the west side of Big Hurricane creek, and on a branch of the same called the Long Hollow- Beginning on the north side of the hill about 15 poles north of the road and about forty poles north west of Youngs field, running then west crossing sd road at about 18 poles and through the Carters field in all one hundred & twenty seve poles to a dogwood and Chest nut on the south side of said Long Hollow Branch, thence south & c. forming the same in an oblong upon the first line west, including Carters improvements. 29th June 1824.
