Beginning on a small poplar marked W.H. & G.L. which poplar stands on the county line dividing the counties of Franklin & Lincoln and immediately where the road leading from Winchester to Lynchburg (by the way of Hurricane creek crosses said line) running from thence north & east & c. for complement so as not to interfere with any prior claim of a legal kind & which was entered by William H. Harris on the 2nd day of February 1826 but was forfeited under the act of Assembly requiring copies of said entry to be delivered to the surveyer within twelve months from the time of entering May 3rd 1827.
