    3. Am seeking information on the GOTCHER'S who were in Franklin and Coffee Co.'s Tn. in the mid 1800's. Jesse Gotcher and wife Lucinda Payne were there with dau's Selina and Tennesse and son Zebadiah or Zebadee. Tennesse m; James Mosley Ikard and she and Jesse are buried in the Ikard cemetary in Alto, Tn.. Selina m; Wm. Ellis Webb and they had son Jessse Newton Webb. Jessee Gotcher and wife Anna Payne were in Cannon Co. Tn. with several children - Nancy , Elizabeth and Mary and one son that I am aware of -Nathaniel Payne Gotcher who m: Elizabeth ? abt 1859. Nathaniel Payne Gotcher was in the CSA during Civil War in Mo. He was first in the 1st Mo. Cal, then in the 1st and 3rd Consolidated Cal. and finally in the 16th Mo. Inf.. He was a member of Price's bodyguard at the Battle of Pea Ridge. Was at Perryville and Chickamuaga. Am not sure where he finished at. Zebadiah Payne Gotcher enrolled in the 17th Tn. Inf in 1861. Was sent to hospital in Knoxville shortly after Battle of Perryville, Ky. He was captured at Petersburg, Va. in June of 1864 and spent the remainder of the war in prison in Elmira, NY. Am looking for any information on the above people. Am especially interested in locating the buriel sites of Zebadiah and Nathaniel Gotcher. Also would like to here from descendants of any of above.
