    3. > I really am at an impasse until the 1930 Fed Census is publicly released. Keith, Later census records can be obtained by a person to whom that information relates. By a provision in the Census Acts (Sect. 32 of 1909 Act; Sect. 33 of 1919 Act; and Sect. 18 of 1929 Act) authorized the Census Director, "in his discretion, to furnish to individuals such data from the population schedules as may be desired for genealogical or other proper purposes." You have to first obtain Form BC-600 from: Personal Census Service Branch, Bureau of the Census, Pittsburg, KS 66762. The fee for the search was $15, may be higher now. The form then would be mailed to: Bureau of the Census, 1600 N. Walnut Street, Pittsburg, Kansas 66762, together with a money order or check payable to "Commerce - Census." It may be difficult to get the information. You have to know something about the census line up. I think you also need a death certificate of the person. Hope this helps. Judy Phillips
