George Willis McCLUSKEY was known to be living in Franklin Co., TN as of the 1820 and 1830 census. Joseph McCLUSKEY is identified as living in adjacent Lincoln Co., TN during the same general time. There are several demographic matches between these two George McCLUSKEY's including their dates and place of birth being ca. 1785 in SC. Joseph McCLUSKEY, Jr. was married to Mary GREEN and their known children included Samuel (b. 1782), George (b. 1784), David (b. 1787), Elizabeth (b. 1789), William (b. 1791), Jane (b. 1793), John (b. 1795), Mary Ann (b. 1799), Joseph D.
