MUNCIE - Doris Copley Tinch, 99, went home to her Heavenly Father Friday, April 15, 2011 at Morrison Woods Health Campus following an extended illness. She was born in Fentress County, Tennessee, November 13, 1911 the daughter of George Washington and Martha (Miller) Copley. She married Albert Tinch on May 31, 1930 and was a hardworking homemaker raising her children. She and Albert moved to Muncie in 1953. Survivors include a daughter, Joan Digman, Yorktown: son-in-law William Brummette, Knoxville, Tennessee; daughter-in-law, Zola Beaty-Tinch, Muncie; grandchildren, Jeffrey Brummette, (Donna Lancia), London UK; Randy Brummette, (Annabelle Bexiga), Hoboken, New Jersey, Rhonda Tinch-Mize, (Joe), Edgewood, Mark Tinch (Michelle Ratterree), Muncie, Sam Digman, Indianapolis, Angie Digman-Cravens, (Todd), Muncie; five great grandchildren, Sidney and Morgan Cravens, William Brummette, Jackie Brummette and Connor Tinch. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Albert; her daughter, Betty Brummette; her son, Ronald Tinch and her son-in-law James Digman. The family will celebrate her life at a private memorial service to be held at a future date in Tennessee. She had been under the wonderful care of the staff of Morrison Woods since July of last year. The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
