If you know of burial places - please list the name & place -even if it is in an unmarked grave. Also if you know information on their families - as parents, spouse etc would be helpful, as there are many people by the same name. Thanks so Much. Kathy S. Bill, Joel Lindsay Reagan was a brother-in-law to my g-g-grandfather John G. Beaty (died McHargue's Mill, London, Laurel Co KY of measles) and three other of John's brothers who all died in the war: David C (Battle of Mill Springs); James M. (Belle Isle Prison, Richmond VA); William R. (Flat Lick KY of disease). No evidence that Isaac (another brother of Lucy Catherine, William, John, James and David.) was in the war, as some have claimed. Of course Eliazer Ailey was too young to enter. I also have that Jonathan Hayes, who married Jane (sister of the above), served as a wagoner or teamster for the USA, got sick and furloughed home and died a few weeks later. Also that John Calvin Hill, who married Sarah Elizabeth (sister) joined the confederacy from Texas where they had moved in the 1850's. He is buried in a church cemetery in Wise Co TX. Don't know where any of these are buried, probably close to where they died, except John Hill, and I assume Jonathan Hayes was buried somewhere in Fentress Co. I don't know if you have figured it out or not, but Wilma has some of this family wrong, and it has been copied by others. So lot's of incorrect information is out there.
