His full name is Laford "Lace" L. Bunch. He is a hero because of his service as a Union Soldier and Prisoner of War Veteran of the Civil War. He served first as a Private in the 4th Regiment Kentucky Mounted Infantry. That regiment later was blended into the 2nd Infantry Regiment Tennessee. Please pass this announcement along to any descendants that would like to attend the erection/placement of Lace's memorial Civil War Tombstone.
