Irene Choate Williams stated that all the Fentress County Choates were related. Irene, before she passed, put out a Choate newsletters as she was a life long Choate researcher with another lady. Her research goes back to Maryland and beyond. I was able to meet Irene few years back and received a lot of her material based on the Southern Choates. My Choate line is from Fentress County, Tennessee. There a Choate cousin of mine, who has a good Choate data base. Perhaps we could get her involved if she is able, to provide much Choate information.
