    3. MUNCIE - Roxie Ann "Anne" Stettler, 68, of Muncie, passed away Saturday, May 7, 2011 at her home. Anne was born August 25, 1942 in Jamestown, TN to the late Joseph and Audie Jane (Wright) Johnson. She attended Muncie Central High School and married Thomas L. Stettler on February 25, 1960. She was a homemaker, but also worked at Eave's South in the Deli, Jenny's Pizza and Café, The Big Apple Restaurant, and the cafeteria at Chevrolet. She attended Full Gospel Temple Church and enjoyed camping, gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Anne is survived by two children, Thomas L. Stettler II (wife, Sherry) of Muncie and Beatrice Bell (companion, Cleveland Grayson) of Muncie; five grandchildren, Kristina Padgett, Thomas Edward Stettler, and Jeffrey, Preston, and Cody Bell; two great-grandchildren, Shyann and Steven Calvert; five sisters, Ineta Wright, Mary M. Parsons (husband, Raymond), Faye Smith (husband, Mike), Jannie Brady (husband, Don), and Carolyn Sloan; three brothers, William C. Johnson (wife, Tina), Eugene Johnson, and Jimmy Johnson (wife, Debbie); and several nieces and nephews including special nieces, Penny and Kim Strouse and Amber Bright. Anne was preceded in death by her husband of forty-two years, Thomas L. Stettler in 2002; six siblings, Willie Cody Johnson, Irene Gaw, Imo jean Crockett, Robert Johnson, Billy Joe Johnson, and Wheeler Johnson. A funeral service to celebrate Anne's life will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 12, 2011 at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 W. Kilgore Ave, Muncie, IN with Pastor Denny Helton officiating. Burial will follow in Elm Ridge Memorial Park. Friends and family may gather to share and remember from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and one hour prior to services at Elm Ridge Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be given to IU Ball Memorial Hospice with envelopes provided at the funeral home.
