Bill, According to what I have heard from those who should know, Spurrier Post Office site is under water. My understanding is that it stood across from the present Eastport boat dock. Thanks Willie    We had heard that ,John Ailey Reagan  ( Lois gran father) run the post office , also a ferry boat  there./ some family talk of long ago./   Lois was born /Spurrier/   her brother James b-Hog Eye, Overton co.,,  baby brother b-d in Wilder,, bro J.C. born Wilder --   Shirley Jr.  an Joyce  b- Shirley  -Fentress co..    In  abt 1936/37/ the family moved to Indiana,,,   Shirley tried to get a job on R.R.//  went to work on a farm,,   $10  a week, house, half a beef a year, 1 hog a year,   Gypseys / movers ??? went to raise family, the best way.   Thanks for listening.   Bill n Lois     --- On Sat, 5/14/11, Willie R.
