Willie When I went to the Rotten Fork School back in late 40's and early 50's it was after you turn left and just directly on the right before the church. Marion Leffew donated the property I was told for the school. The people who bought it was Gib (Gilbert ) Long and Queenie Hughes Long. They lived there till they died. Then their son George lived there till he went to a nursing home. He is the one who was shot when the law was after Billy Dean Anderson. George was a teenager then this happened. I believe George was shot by a bullet from Billy's gun and it paralyzed him from the waist down. He was very strong even after this with his arms. I think Gilbert and Queenie only have one child left, Mildred Long and I don't know her married name. Believe she lives in Indiana.The school is across from the COOK farm.
