Pat, I have looked into James Findley (Finley) trying to connect him to the well documented family in Augusta County, VA, in the 1700s. Carmen Finley, the administrator for that Augusta Co rootsweb site seems to have a good bit of information, but I have too little to be able to tap into it correctly. Have you been in touch with her?
