No, when Douglas Miller died, she remarried, a man named Edwards. Apparently, she died shortly after that, sometime between the 1880 and 1900 census but we don't know when. When Maranda died, her husband, Loucious Winfield Edwards, known as Lew, married Mary Etta Miller (his stepdaughter!). We don't know exactly when that was, and the missing 1890 census would have given us a better idea, but we all know that story.
