Pat, Do you have all of these families (Guin, Storie, Reagan, and a lot more that look familiar like Lindsey and Bowden ) who went to Overton/Fentress in the early 1800s coming together in the northern parts of early Rowan Co, NC (probably in Lord Granville's tract in which deeds were not recorded until after1778 even though they had been settling there any time after 1763 at Lord Granville's death) before they came to TN? Did they all get land from John McIver of Fairfax, VA, as did Peter Reagan? And would that have been before they left NC, or did they just come upon the opportunity after they got to TN? The deed is recorded in the early Overton Co, TN deed books. Does anyone know about John McIver? Did you find any evidence that Peter Reagan was a descendant of Michael Reagan? I speculated about that, but I haven't found anything except that Michael Reagan had a son named Peter, and no one else seems to have that name in the line. It would be interesting to see if there is any proof of those names in NC or VA. Thanks for the help. Sarah
