Nathaniel Hossey (Halsey) lived in Wayne Co KY, and also in Fentress Co in the old 12th District just east of the Old Barger Church. He died early around 1840, and his land became known as the 'WIDOW HOSSEY PLACE'. The land consisted of app. 200ac. They very could have lived in the rotten fork area also, as they were never enumerated in a fc census.
