Hi Sarah, Wilma is a nice person and very keen on her family, I haven't been down for about 3 yrs now. Really need to go see her she will be 98 yrs. old on Oct 7 of this year, she and my mother were born in the same year. Remember going down there many times as a young girl and even into adulthood. I have a lot of happy childhood memories from down there. Wilma always said our family came to TN about 1818 and had never even thought about the 1812 notation in Hogue's book, they would have had to been there then. Will dig out the book and send what it says to you. Sorry I keep saying dig out and look for it, but 3 yrs ago my husband and I bought a 27 ft. travel trailer and that is what we live in on a campground, we love it. But most of information is in a storage unit and some is with me. Am never sure what is with me or in the unit. Think the last date I have is 1806 on one of the deeds, it has Peter and Nancy's name on it. I could not find Peter Jr. in census for 1800 or 1810. And haven't found him on any papers in TN before 1820 census. I didn't see the book by John you are talking about, wish I had. Agree with you we each have a lot of information and putting it together might solve our mystery. Do you know if they have papers on the War of 1812 at archives here in NC, found a Capt. James Findley and Charles Rygen from Wilkes, think this might be Peter Jrs. brother. Pat
