I did find Nancy Crabtree married to Isaac Burnett on the 1910 Fentress County Census: (Fentress County, TN: ED# 18, District 2 (Old District #7 and #8), Page 10A, Household 177) The census is light and hard to read. - Isaac BURNETT, head, age 67, KY,KY,KY; married 3 times (looks like it shows marriage to Nancy as 1/2) - Nancy BURNETT, wife, age 47, TN,TN,TN, married 1 time; 5 children and 4 living (looks like it shows marriage time as 1/2) - Ulis G. CRABTREE, stepson, age 10, TN,KY,TN (this would be her son Ulysses Grant Crabtree) - Sherman D. CRABTREE, stepson, age 7, TN,KY,TN (he also went by the Burnett surname) Isaac Burnett (b. January 27, 1843, KY; d. October 29, 1913, buried Wolf River Cemetery, Fentress County, TN). He was the son of William Burnett (b. abt. 1817) and Elizabeth ? (b. abt. 1820). They lived in Wayne County, KY. I have Nancy Jane Crabtree (b. December 25, 1863; d. June 15, 1940, buried at Upchurch Cemetery, Fentress County, TN) as the daughter of Dorcas Crabtree (b. 3/1836, d. aft. 1900). Nancy Jane Crabtree and Isaac Burnett were married October 12, 1909 in Fentress County, TN (according to Fentress County marriage records). The children I have for Nancy Jane Crabtree are: - Claude Bascom Crabtree, born 5/1/1887 m. Laura B. Jones - Loranza Crabtree (female), born 3/1893 - Joseph Edgar (Joe) Crabtree, born 3/13/1896, d. 12/1971 - Freeman Crabtree, born 4/1899 - Ulysses Grant Crabtree, born abt. 1900 - Sherman D. (Burnett) Crabtree, born 4/23/1902, d. 8/1985 in Wayne County, KY), m. Sarah J. Jennings on 9/6/1924 in Fentress County, TN, then married Cora A. Dishman on 3/14/1926 in Fentress County, TN (after Sarah died in 1925) See the 1900 Census record (Fentress County, TN: ED# 16, District 8, Page 10A (ancestry.com page 7), Household 170) for Nancy Crabtree and her children. Her mother Dorcas Crabtree (b. 3/1836) was living with Nancy and her children. I have Dorcas Crabtree as the daughter of James Crabtree (b. 1808) and Nancy Huff (b. abt. 1814). So if she married a BURNETT it would have been after 1900. I can't find her in 1910." My g-grandmother was Nancy CRABTREE b. 1845 d/o Hiram & Manerva Delk Crabtree. She married Robert STEWART. They had 11 children. In 1900 she would have been a widow. Her sister Winnie Crabtree b. ca. 1850 m. James Barnett. I have a Dorcas CRABTREE b. 1836 d/o James CRABTREE. Are these connected to the ones you are talking of? How? Linda
