Crossville Chronicle obit Published February 2000 DELLA MAE GREEN Funeral services for Della Mae Green, 96, of Crossville, who passed away Feb. 4, 2000, were held Feb. 6 from the chapel of Bilbrey Funeral Home, with burial in Crossville City Cemetery. Dr. Dan D. Haskins Jr. officiated. She was born May 16, 1903 in Fentress County, TN, the daughter of Wesley and Kessie Atkinson Norris. Mrs. Green was a housewife and she was a member of Homestead Baptist Church. Survivors include her sons, Glen Green and Joel Green, both of Dayton, OH, and Bernard Green of Crossville; daughters, Celila Holton of New Bern, NC, and Lola Sells of Pikeville, TN; 24 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; and 23 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sons, H.L. Green and Casto Green; and daughter, Louella Smith Roig. Pallbearers were Chris Green, Jim Blalock, Shane Blalock, Jeff Moore, Michael Green and Gary Green. Bilbrey Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
