Crossville Chronicle obit Published February 2000 HARRY A. MARTIN Harry A. Martin, 90, of Clarkrange, passed away on Feb. 20, 2000 at Fentress County General Hospital in Jamestown. Funeral services were held Feb. 22 at Clarkrange United Methodist Church, with burial in Clarkrange Cemetery. Bros. Tom Rascoe, James Young, Tom McDonald and J.C. Vaughn officiated. Masonic services were held Monday evening. Mr. Martin was born on Nov. 10, 1909 in Colterville, TN, the son of Zack Lee and Mary Effie (Armor) Martin. He was a retired teacher, and he was a member of Clarkrange United Methodist Church, Clarkrange Masonic Lodge No. 605 and Mary Chapter No. 11 Order of the Eastern Star, for over 60 years, holding offices in all three organizations. Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Martha Louise and Duane Wakefield of Clarkrange; son and daughter-in-law James H. and Julia Martin of Clarkrange; son and daughter-in-law William Lee and Janet Martin of Cartersville, GA; granddaughter Harriet Denise Wright and her husband, David; grandson Anthony Martin Anderson and his wife, Jill; grandson Angelo Anderson and his wife, Tina; grandson Timothy Martin and his wife, Michiko; grandchildren, Phillip Martin, Jennie Martin Ledford, and Jodie Martin; and great-grandchildren, Ashley Wright, Alex Wright, Rachel Martin, Katie Martin, Calob Anderson, Drew Anderson, Stevie Ledford and Hayley Martin. He was preceded in death by his parents, Zack Lee and Mary Effie Martin, and by his wife, Carrie Martin. Clarkrange Chapel-Jennings Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
