Bev, I have an Austin Choate born c1795 in Virginia married to an Elizabeth born c1801 in Virginia. They have seven children of which the oldest is Jacob born 1826 in Tennessee. All info I have is from census records. Would this be the family below that you are writing about? Frank Brown Kansas City ============================ Well, I have that Austin being married to Elizabeth Betsy Young and them having 10 children...........with the following notes: 1850 census says he was born in NC in 1795 but from David Atkinson's copy of 1850 Fentress County census, Dist #4,pg 786, shows him born in Va and his age as 55 and farmer. Per Irene, in 1880--Austin, Elizabeth and daughter, Ladenna had moved in with his son Christopher.
