Could someone enlighten us about the Fentress Round-up today? My heart was there. I could only imagine, Civil War is so very interesting, and Willie's book of the Grist Mills. I hope the storms were gone, and all were ok. Patty
Patty, We had a very success Roundup yesterday. There was a lot of interest in the displays related to the Civil War era in Fentress County. We hope to be able to give more advance notice about the Roundup for next year. Maybe some of you who don't live nearby will be able to plan so that you can attend. It's always a wonderful time for connecting with email buddies and geneology cousins from far and near. Thanks for asking about it. I think we will be putting some of the photos online when the dust has settled (which is hasn't here in this house yet!). The Civil War re-enactors brought a cannon and shot it a couple of times at 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon.
