Betty Jane Brannon, 84 MUNCIE - Betty Jane Brannon, 84, Muncie, passed away Friday morning, April 21, 2006 at her residence after an extended illness. She was born in Muncie, on January 15, 1922, the daughter of Clifford Wesley and Verdie (McKinley) Green, and graduated form Yorktown High School in 1940. She was a member of the Nazarene Faith, the owner of the Mountaineer Motel in Jamestown, Tennessee, and she volunteered and contributed to D.A.V. Survivors include two daughters, Carolyn Sue Kirby, Muncie, and Patty Burke, Muncie; one son, Jerry Lynn Price, Ft. Wayne; 21 grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; one brother, Jack Hatcher, Richmond; and one sister, Helen Klem, Kokomo. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Brannon; one son, Robert Hammond; and two sisters, Nina Longfellow and Nancy Barnhouse. There will be no services or calling hours. Burial will be in Allardt Cemetery, Allardt, Tennessee on Tuesday. The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory is in charge of arrangements. January 02, 1936) -- all three buried at Allardt Cemetery. I do not know if the daughters listed for Betty Jane were her children with Lloyd or not.
