Willie, Thank you for the info. I have been studying the census to identify yhe wife of George Huckaby, Rebecca b. 1806 NC. In 1880 Fentress, she is widowed living with her daughter. The census lists both her parents birthplace as NC as well. I know she md George Huckaby around 1825-30, so i looked through all th families close by that were from NC. I found that both Robert Storie b. 1784 NC and his wife, Ruth Lewis were from NC, thus old enough to be her parents. In 1830, both the Huckaby and the Storie families were in close proximity according to the census. In 1850, Fentress, George and Rebecca were n HH # 701 and a James Storie (s/o Robert and Ruth) is in HH # 698. Anyone have the info on Robert Storie's children? Did he have a daughter, Rebecca b. 1807? I know he had James b. 1807 and a Catherine b. 1820. He must have had more. Any help/info/or feedback certainly welcomed.
