Burial was in Oaklawn Cemetery. Mrs. Holland died on Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2006, in Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born on Feb. 2, 1929, in Fentress County to the late Porter Thomas and Nina Allie Beaty Conatser. Mrs. Holland was a homemaker and a attended Taft Church of Christ. She enjoyed dancing at the Senior Citizen Center, bowling with the girls, shopping, and treasured being a mother. Her family includes a son and daughter-in-law, Tommy Lee III and Kim England of Sparta; two stepsons and a stepdaughter-in-law, Mike Holland, and Mark and Sandy Holland, all of Sparta; a stepdaughter, Debbie Davis of Sparta; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Shellie and Elizabeth Conatser of California, and Tommy and Sharon Conatser of Walling; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Nora and Obie Brooks, and Louise and Bobby Huff, all of Indiana; a sister-in-law, Helen Ruth Hall Conatser of Sparta; two grandchildren, Chelsea England and Kayleigh Robbins; and five stepgrandchildren, Tracy Payne, Stacy Christian, Mandy Cole, and Katie and Kayla Holland. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thurman Holland; a daughter, Sandra Darlene England; a brother, Shelby Conatser; and two sisters, Vella Bachlar and Lola Anderson. Pallbearers were Mark and Mike Holland, Greg England, Rodney Conatser, A.C. Sullivan, Buford Holman, Aaron Stout and Morgan Jones. Honorary pallbearer was Carl Wheeler. Bro.
