Crossville Chronicle obit Published March 24, 2006 Clettis Beaty Dec. 7, 1930 - March 19, 2006 Clettis Beaty, 75, of Crossville, passed away March 19, 2006. Funeral services were conducted March 22 from the Clarkrange chapel of Jennings Funeral Home, with Bro. Grover Atkinson officiating. Burial was in Rinnie Cemetery. Mr. Beaty was born Dec. 7, 1930 in Crossville, the son of Jerry Lee Beaty and Synda Mason (White) Beaty. He was a farmer and general laborer. Survivors include his sons and daughters-in-law, Ronnie and Flonnie Beaty of Jamestown, Donald and Shirley Beaty of Crossville and Kevin and Shannon Beaty; daughters and sons-in-law, Darleena and Roger Brady of Crossville, Carleena and Tony Griner of Crossville, Juanita and Frankie Rains of Byrdstown, Alleta and Leon Stepp of Clarkrange and Diannia and Bob Young of Birmingham, AL; sisters, Clara Turner of Crossville and Hassie Wyatt of Deer Lodge; special family, Gracie Harvill, Gradis and Kathleen Harvill, Shirley Harvill, Darla, Lisa, Duke, Rene, Blake, Kenny Lee, Kenneth, Ryan and Tasha; grandchildren, Nicholas Brady, Patrick Brady, Matthew Brady, Barbara Griner, Robert Young, Charles Young, Samuel Young, Jacob Young, James Rains, Jennifer Rains, Daniel Stepp, Sarah Phillips, Megan Stepp, Whitney Beaty, Britney Beaty, Austin Beaty, Gabriella Beaty, Sabrina Beaty and Ashley Beaty; and great-grandchildren, Faith Brady, Izac Brady, Collin Brady, Autumn Phillips, Daderick Phillips, Joshua Young, Haley Young and Tyler Edwards. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Jeffery Lee Beaty; sisters, Margie Beaty, Cassie Stover and Kelly Beaty; and great-grandson, Kenneth Alexander Phillips. Pallbearers were Matthew Brady, Patrick Brady, Nicholas Brady, James Rains, Daniel Stepp, Gerald Wyatt, Lowell Wyatt and Jason Phillips. Honorary pallbearers were Blake Sweitzer, Gradis Harvill and Ryan Sweitzer. Jennings Funeral Home of Jamestown was in charge of the arrangements.
