Hello List, I am trying to confirm the parents of Jacob Samuel Reagan b. abt 1810. I have seen n some sources that he was the s/o Joel & Rachel Reagan. However, I am wondering if Samuel could be the s/o Peter Reagan Jr? Since Samuel was b.abt 1810, & according to 1830 Fentress Co census, he could be the son of either Joel & Rachel - pg 16 or Peter & Nancy - pg 4. Samuel md Elizabeth Pennycuff just after 1830. Elizabeth Pennycuff was the d/o John Pennycuff of 1830 Fentress also on pg 4. Hence, since both Peter Reagan and John Penntcuff is listed on pg 4 together of 1830 Fentress, could Samuel possibly be s/o Peter Jr? According to 1820 & 1830 Fentress Peter had a least 4 sons: Caleb b. 1801 John b. 1802 Joel b. 1807 4th son? b. bet 1810 & 1820. Can anyone confirm the sons of Peter Jr? Did he have a will which would list his children? Joel Reagan had only two sons b. bef 1820. 1 male b 1802-1804 Possibly Charles b. 1800/1803 1 male b. abt 1810 Possibly William b. 1809/1810. Wm is isted on pg 16 on same pg as Rachel Reagan, widow of Joel. Did Joel Reagan have a will in which his children were listed? Any help appreciated!!!!! Thanks JW Garrett
