Mildred Ruth Moss Grider's mother was Mary Ann Clayburn Wilson Hurst Choate (b. May 28, 1905, d. August 03, 1996, buried Gunter Cemetery, Fentress County, TN), who was the daughter of Louis Edmond Clayburn and Lizzy Etter Stephens, who are both buried at Taylor Place Cemetery in Fentress County. Mary Ann Clayburn's second husband was Oliver Judge Hurst, and her third husband was Alford Taylor Choate. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ --- COOKEVILLE -- Mildred Ruth Grider, 82, of Cookeville, died Friday, Nov. 3, 2006, at Bethesda Health Care Center. The family has chosen cremation, and no services are planned at this time. She was born Feb. 9, 1924, on a cold Friday morning in Wilder to the late Moss and Mary Clayburn Wilson. Mrs. Grider was a retired cabinet maker with Diamond Industries in Grants Pass, Ore., having worked there for over 20 years. She was a member of First Assembly of God in Cookeville. Her family includes a daughter and son-in-law, Rosemary and Joe Dexter of Cookeville; a son and daughter-in-law, James and Jacquelyne Grider of Cookeville; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Grider was preceded in death by her husband.
