Hi, all, some of y'all may remember me, some may not. I was here a few years ago on the list, but very long illness and recovery has kept me down for a couple of years. During that time, I've lost track of many people and most of what I had done. So, here I am, back again, starting again from scratch. Rick Garrett, son of Floyd Elmer Garrett and Dilrey Mae Buck Garrett. Floyd was the son of Oliver Perry Garrett and Rebecca Storey. So, any help in getting me started again, would be much appreciated. Oh, and, I've lost some of my short term memory....so I might ask the same question more than once. Please forgive me in advance. Rick
Hi Rick, I have Garrett ancestry also. My gr-gr-grandmother was Juda Garrett, b. 1823, m. Geo. W. Smith. Juda's father was Abraham Garrett & her mother was Margaret Flowers. Do you have any info on them? Any pictures? Hi Rick.... I do have some GARRETTs married to some BUCKs, but no Floyd Elmer Garrett. I do have a Dillrey M. Buck, born about 1924 in Tennessee. Her parents are John Marion Buck and Roselia Ellis.... Is this your mother? If so, I can probably only help you with the BUCK end of things, unless I can tie into the GARRETTs somehow. Best wishes.
