    3. I remember when we were kids, we had to make our own games to entertain yourselves. We didn't know that there were anything better than what we did. Some of the games that I played were: 1. Ante-over; 2. Click & wheel; 3. Marbles; 4. Walking on stilks; 5. Step on tin can and walk with it on your shoes (parents objected, damage to shoe); 6. Tie one can to another for telephone; 7. Hide & seek; 8. Swimming in creek (skinny dipping); 9. Snipe hunting; 10. Cork ball game (weight a large cork with strainght pens to balance, play like baseball game with broom stick for bat. Those were wonderful memories of childhood, even though the games probably existed in KY and TN. Happy Holidays and may God bless you!

    3. We also played kick the can, blind man's bluff & jacks. At one house where we lived we had a swing made by stuffing a sack (I think with corn shucks) & tying it on the end of a rope. Dad built a platform & we would jump off the platform on the sack & go so high it was almost scary.
