Don, So far I have two replies from my question on Memory Lane concerning stilts and "Tom Walkers" One from a man who lived in Arkansas as a child and he said it did ring a bell but thought he had always known them as stilts. Another from a girl who grew up in Georgia and had always known them as "Tom Walkers". She described her father making them for his children. I guess there are other "wierd" places. Thanks Marilyne, Another thing that floored me was once when my wife asked me to "raise the window down"! By now after 43 years of marriage, nothing surprises me. BTW, I am from Texas. Don
