Don, So far I have two replies from my question on Memory Lane concerning stilts and "Tom Walkers" One from a man who lived in Arkansas as a child and he said it did ring a bell but thought he had always known them as stilts. Another from a girl who grew up in Georgia and had always known them as "Tom Walkers". She described her father making them for his children. I guess there are other "wierd" places.
