Hi List, May you all have a Blessed Thanksgiving and a safe one. Is there any thing you could wish and be Thankful for this Thanksgiving? If I could have my Thanksgiving wish to come true.....I would wish I had my mother, DOMMIE DELK WARD and two grandpas, JOCKEY DAVID DELK and HENRY WARD here to answer some questions. I would ask my mother why she wouldn't go to the doctor sooner. She would have lived longer. But, she was scared of doctors. I also would wish for pictures of the following.... Old DAVID DELK & his wives LEMUEL DELK & PERMELIA MILLER DELK FRELAND WARD & PHAIRZELLA BURGE WARD my gr-grand parents STERLING WARD & PHAIRZELLA BURGE WARD my gr-grandma PHAIRZELLA BURGE WARD was born in Anderson Co TN. In 1880 she was with my gr-grandpa FRELAND and her 3 sons. One of which was my grandpa HENRY. Some time shortly after she ran away with her brother in law STERLING. She left behind 3 sons only to have 10 more children. I would ask Grandpa Henry if he ever saw his mother after that. I do believe he did. Names are the same for both families and their children. I am thankful for my good sized family, 5 children, 10 grand children, 1 great and 1 on the way. .. and their good health..
