Hi all, I'm new to mailing lists so please forgive me if I'm not doing this right. I'm looking for information about my husbands family. His grandfather is William Jackson Scroggins, born in TN, Aug. 1895, died 1929. . Williams fathers name is George, also born in TN. The 1900 census for Fentress County lists a William J. Scroggins with the birthdate of Aug. 1895. The census lists him as the grandson of A.J. Scroggins. I'm wondering if this could be the same William. Does anyone have information on this family?
