My father, born in Fentress Co in 1908, was named Carl Wright Jenkins. I asked him who he was named for, but he had no idea. Does anyone know where the name Carl among Wrights would have come from? I also wonder if the two were from the same Wright lineage. Ancestors of my father's Wrights were Samuel Wright/ Celia (Celina? Seely) Smith and Samuel Wright, Jr./Sarah Samantha Owen and then Lily Mae Wright and Daniel Thomas Jenkins. My father was born around Wilder or Crawford. Thanks, Sarah
