Crossville Chronicle obit Published October 13, 2005 Dick Wilson Jan. 8, 1932 - Sept. 28, 2005 Dick Wilson, 73, of Crossville, passed away Sept. 28, 2005. A memorial service was conducted Sept. 30 from the chapel of Bilbrey Funeral Home, with Bro. Vern Daugherty officiating. Mr. Wilson was born Jan. 8, 1932 in Crossville, the son of Ethel (Burgess) and Eston Wilson. He was a painting contractor and owned Wilson Paint. He was of the Baptist faith. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. Survivors include his wife, Betty Wilson of Crossville; sons, Rick Wilson and Dale Wilson of Crossville; daughters, Bonnie Gann and Donna Boyteck of Crossville; sisters, Emma Legge of Jamestown, Janet Leonard of Columbus, TN and Lorraine Tichenor of Cookeville; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and stepfather John A. Neely. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Hospice of Cumberland County. Bilbrey Funeral Home, Inc. was in charge of the arrangements.
