I have been trying to find the death record of my Great Great Grandfather, James Walter Franklin, he was married to Charlotte Jane "Lottie Jane" Beaty, d/o Richard and Lydia Stephens Beaty. James Walter "Big Jim" Franklin was born July 31, 1874 Fentress Co., TN.-d. July 14, 1941 Boatland, Fentress Co., TN. He was buried at the Dempsey Bowden Cemetery at Boatland. I just wanted to find his obituary or maybe his death certificate. So far, I have found nothing. I searched the Archives in Nashville but it was my first visit and I really wasnt sure if I had looked through all the micro film that was available. If anyone would have any access to the old Fentress County Paper for that year, I would greatly appreciate it if you could see if his obit is in it. Jill Franklin Hicks
