    3. Pat & Sarah In regards to your Caleb Reagan being born 1799 according to 1860 census. I have many, many times came across such discrepancies. Many time their ages were recorded incorrectly for whatever reason. If Calab was the s/o Peter an Sarah md Nov 1800, Caleb was more likely born 1801. Need to look at 1850 census for Caleb and see what his age is listed as. This is how I determine a birth date, to look at the census' and note their ages, and instead of being different by 10 yrs as each census is taken every ten yrs, I have found age diferences as much as 3-4 ys. So, first I would look at other census dates and note his recorded age. Also, just wondering, Is your Caleb Reagan definitely s/o Peter Reagn Jr.? Any real documentation for it? Reason why I ask, is that my Joel Ragan has one son unaccounted for b. 1802-1804. The only sons I have for my Joel Reagan are: Son b. 1802-04 Joel b. bet 1801-1810 Jacob Samuel b. abt 1810 Larkin b. bet 1810 & 1820 Thomas b. 1822 Can you or anyone on the list provide additional info on the children of Joel Reagan md to Rachel/Nancy Gwenn? Would help if I had the actual birth dates of is children. I know he had at least 4 daughters according to census', but I have yet to identify them. Census list: Caleb Reagan age 61 Farmer b NC Susan D. age 60 b. TN Lavina age 16 or 26 (couldn't make it out) b. MO Washington L.D. age 17 b. MO The census was taken 1st June 1860, Buffalo Twp., Newton Co. MO Page 1 According to this Caleb would have been born in 1799 as you have it Sarah. This really puts doubts in my mind about Peter Jr. marrying Nancy Cauthon as they were married in Nov. of 1800. Please let me know what the 2 of you think.
