    3. Dear family & friends, It's that time of year again! Andrew & Sally Koger Beaty Reunion Saturday, November 4, 2006 12:00 - 3:00 p.m. Wolf River Methodist Church Pall Mall, Tennessee October 5, 2006 Dear Family & Friends, The Eleventh Annual Andrew and Sally Koger Beaty Reunion is the first Saturday in November, just one month away. And since our mailing is limited to those who are children or grandchildren of Andrew and Sally, we depend upon you to help us get the word out. We do send e-mail announcements to all family members and friends of our grandparents that we have addresses for, so please give us anyone's e-mail address that you know would like to have an invitation to attend. Our announcement will be in the Fentress Courier and the Pickett Press newspapers for two weeks prior to the event. Again this year we are asking you to bring old family pictures, especially pictures of Granddad and Granny. We will have a copier on hand so you can make copies of any photos or documents on a cost recovery basis. Also, if you have a cherished item that belonged to either Granny or Granddad, and can bring it, we will have a table set up to display the items. There will be cards that you can write your name on and any special memories you have related to the item. We will call this the Andrew and Sally Beaty Heirloom Display. Please plan to have your items there by 11:30 at the latest, so everyone will have a chance to see them. So, come early to the Reunion, bring your family, your heirloom items, your old pictures, something good to eat, and something to share with others. That's a lot, but it will be fun and interesting. If you want to meet everyone, get there before 12:00 p.m. and stay until the end. Our Great-grandmother (Grandad's mother) was Mary C. "Polly" Matthews. I recently found her brother, John H. Matthews and his wife Ida Bowles (Boles) Matthews, buried in the Storey Cemetery, between Oneida and Robbins, TN. Since then, I have discovered that they had an adopted daughter named Dora Mae, who married a Chesser. I don't know where she is buried. They also had another daughter, Connie, who first married Ralph Gordon Vanderpool and second married a Storey. She is buried in the same cemetery as her parents. She had a son by her first husband named W. Gordon Vanderpool, born about 1928. See you at the Reunion! Willie
