Her father, Lee Stephens, was a brother to my Grandfather Alexander (Alec) Stephens. They were the sons of George Washington Stephens and his second wife Virginia Hogue. This is based on what my mother always said. George Stephens first wife was Elizabeth Louisa Tipton. I hope I have this correct. -- Peg
