    3. Brenda, The soldier I'm trying to locate is John Allen "John Booher" Smith, son of Geo. W. & Juda (Garrett) Smith. I've tried doing what you suggested on the CWSSS website. There are SO MANY John Smiths, and no home addresses are given that I could find. I've even gone down to NARA in DC & waded through John Smiths down there and haven't found him yet. I'd appreciate any help you can give me. Thanks so much.     3. John C. Smith is their son not John Allen according to my records & he is buried in the Bethsaida Cem., Overton Co., Tn. He died March 8, 1938 in Overton Co., & was born July 6, 1845.
