Milly, I can remember riding on a "loaded" flatbed truck with no sides too. My, how times have changed! I moved back to TN in 2009 after living away for 58 years & I was pleasantly surprised to learn that some cemeteries in Fentress Co. still have a decoration day & people even come from out of state for decoration day. A few of the cousins are coming down to visit the Smith graves over Memorial Day weekend and I thought it would be a great way for some of the cousins to meet. Not sure if it will be Sat or Sunday. Just wanted to get it started. It will be a very informal affair with everyone bringing their own eats. Maybe once we get to know each other we could make it a yearly affair. Our line is:George William Smith, David Smith, George Washington Smith, Calvin Burton Smith. The cemeteries will be the Calvin Burton Smith Cemetery and George Washington Smith Cemetery located on Lloyd Hall Loop in southeast Fentress Co. Of course everyone is invited who wants to come and see if they are related. ____________________________________________________________ Groupon™ Official Site 1 ridiculously huge coupon a day.
