Mr. Delk was born July 24, 1945, in Jamestown, Tenn. He was an employee of Red River Army Depot, a member of First Baptist Church, Wake Village, and a Vietnam War Navy and Army veteran. Survivors include his wife, Renee Delk of Wake Village; three daughters, Loretta Fisher of Fort Wayne, Ind., M'Lee Turner of Burleson, Texas, and Lindsay Delk of Wake Village; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Jerry Wayne and Jeanie Delk of Albany, Ind., and Daniel Delk of Plano, Texas; one sister, Betty Pennicuff of Jamestown; one brother, Jerry Delk of Knoxville, Tenn.; nine grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church, Wake Village, with the Rev. Jared Gibson officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park under direction of Chapelwood Funeral Home. Visitation will be 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home. Relatives will be at the family home in Wake Village.

There are Beatys and Ramseys buried in the Mount Gilead Methodist Cemetery at Banner Springs, Fentress County. The cemetery is located about 200 yards behind the church on a dirt road. I am looking for several families that I find in the 1840 and 1850 census. Any information would help on these individuals. The families are the Thacker, Wright, and Huddleston families. Looking on anyone knowing anything about Joel or Elias Thacker families, who would of had a daughter named Clarinda. Joel Thacker will or estate settlement. Anything about Elizabeth Wright who has Joel Thacker living with her in 1850. Could she be one of his daughters ? Huddleston families of Fentress who has a Thomas or John Thomas who dies about 1847.
