Hello list, I am trying to locate the burial place of George Huckaby b. 1807 and his wife Rebecca. George Huckeby died bef 1870 and his wife Rebecca died after 1880 according to Fentress Co. census. They lived in Dist #11 in 1850 and 1860. Rebecca was in Dist # 11 in 1880. Does anyone know what area Dist 11 covered in 1870 and 1880? This may help me to locate burial place. Thanks! If you would send me a few more details or dates maybe I can locate them. I'm a member of the Beaty Project 2000 [BP2000] and would certainly recommend you join that group if you are interested in Beaty research. It is a group of researchers of all spellings of the Beaty name and they have been gathering all the info on that surname for several years. It is free and easy to join. Here is the website: _http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~bp2000/main.htm_ (http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~bp2000/main.htm) My Beaty family line is from Alexander & Catharine Beaty who lived just across the state line in Clinton Co., KY. They are directly related to many of the Beatys in Fentress Co. They are all part of BP2000 lineage 2, but have been broken up into several branches to help us research them. I don't see your Mary Elizabeth right away, but there are a number of girls named Mary E. in several of the branches. Tami, I tried to send you some pics last night, but was unsuccessful. I need to work with this software program a little to try to figure out how to send pictures in compressed files or something. Hi Brenda, thanks for posting *Willie T. (Billy) Delk Beaty's * obit. I had heard from Jim Delk that she was in failing health. Willie was a 7th Great granddaughter of Roger Delk. I have that Mattie Isabella F. Voils (15 Jan 1899 - 26 Feb 1968) was first married to Roy Stephens (parents unknown to me). I too would like to know who the parents of Carl Beaty, husband of Willie Delk were. later, Fabian BrenINVa@aol.com schrieb: > > Willie T. "Billie" Beaty, 78 > MUNCIE - Willie T. Sheena, My ancestor was A. B. Wright, spouse Cynthia Spearman Carpenter Wright, and their daughter, Mary Jane Wright Peters. Mary Jane was the mother of my grandfather of Timothy Victor Hugo Peters who was also a Methodist minister. Much of his work was done in Morgan County, TN from about 195-1937. He was at church in Oneida when he had a major stroke and he and his family moved to his wife's home in LA. He had been at Oakdale and Burville prior to that. I would love any information about any of these people.
